In 2014, she founded Peptomyc, a company focused on the development of a new generation of cell penetrating peptides (CPPs) targeting the Myc oncoprotein for cancer treatment. Her goal is to provide new, efficient and nontoxic therapeutic options to cancer patients.

She is also the business development director of the Atos Research & Innovation group, trying to bring outcomes of research and innovation projects closer to the market, finding opportunities for them to be further deployed and if possible, commercialized. Finally, Lydia is a member of the Supervisory Board of EIT Health, contributing to the strategy of this network of partners with complementary skills and capacities to foster and promote change and innovation in the health sector for the benefit of European citizens.
Get to know Cristina Soaz – Co-founder of Qolware GmbHCristina Soaz is the co-founder and managing director of Qolware GmbH, a tech start-up incubated at the Technical University of Munich specialized in the analysis of smartwatch sensor data for health tracking and emergency detection. Given her Doctoral degree in Electrical Engineering from TU München, she is directly involved in all the technical aspects of the product development and works to guarantee that Qolware stays at the cutting edge of technology.
